今年も北の大地、北海道で例年通り、8月の第三ウイークエンドに開催されたライジング・サン・ロック・フェスティヴァル。広大でフラットな敷地のなかにフジ・ロックのグリーン・ステージを遙かに越えるキャパシティを誇るサン・ステージを構え、グリーン・オアシスからアース・テント、レッド・スター・フィールドにムーン・サーカス、ボヘミアン・ガーデンと六つのステージにブラックホールというスペースも持つ。敷地面積で言えば、フジロックよりも広いのではないかとも思えるここでなにが起きていたのか、あるいは、起きていなかったのか？そのあたりを3名の写真家、ライター2名で追いかけてみた。 フェスティヴァルって、いったいなになのさ？おそらく、今年のライジングをみて思ってみたのはそんな疑問だった。が、それは、後日、ゆっくりと語ってみようと思う。 |
