昨日に続いて2回目となった今回は、よりロック指向のバンドを集めてのイヴェントとなった。しばらくぶりに見るDachamboにはどんどん引き込まれていくという感じで、以前見たときと比べて格段にパワーを付けてきたのが一目でわかる。インストゥルメンタルが中心ということで、「歌」ものが少なかったりと、認知度はまだまだなんだろうが、彼らの「場」で体験したら、ぶっ飛ばされそうな気がする。そういった意味でいえば、これからが彼らのシーズン。自然のなかでのレイヴやフェスティヴァルには欠かせないバンドとなっていくような気がする。 この日は都議会選挙に立候補する予定の、元ロッキング・オン、フジ・ロックNGO村の村長でもある大久保青志氏がDJごっこをしたんだが、皿を回しながら「戦争反対」と口にしていたのには笑った。小泉だって同じことを言っているし、彼のご主人様、ブッシュだってそうだろう。問題は、「戦争の責任を自分たちが負っている」ということを認識することなんじゃないのかい？ それこそが求められていることであり、それをすることなくして「戦争反対」とか「平和」の念仏を唱えてもなにも変わらないだろう。 一方で、この日、彼が石原都知事と真っ向から闘うことを公言してくれたのは嬉しかった。なにせ、青少年保護を名目に、我々音楽人の現場をつぶしにかかっているのが石原体制。もともと行き場のない子供たちの、数少ない行き場を取り去ることが問題解決にはならないことなんぞ簡単に想像できそうなものなのに、人間を動物のように管理することしか考えない条例を次々と持ち出しては彼らを追いつめている。それがどれほどの犯罪であり、その温床をつくっているのかを思い知るべきだろう。そのためにも大久保氏のような人間が、我々がどこかで嫌悪している「政治の政界に」入っていく必要性を感じるのだ。もちろん、彼を理想の政治家だと思っているわけでもないし、政党なんてかけらも信じてはいない。加えて、「政治家」が政治の中心だとも思ってはいないが、少なくとも一般の人間にとって唯一の、誰でも行使できる物理的な力として存在する「票」を使うには、こういった人に投票するか、あるいは、石原都政を支える勢力への対抗馬に使うしか方法がないのだ。 そのために、彼には「今、音楽を愛する僕らがどんな問題に直面しているのか」をきちんと伝えていって欲しいと思うし、我々も目を覚ます必要がある。知ろうとすれば知ることができるはずなのに、「知らない」うちに手足をもぎ取られていることを直視しなければいけない。そんなことを再確認した一晩だった。 photos by hanasan |
